Metal garden art, with designs inspired by nature

I combine pen illustration, acrylic paint and graphic elements to create designs inspired by nature. Using these designs, I make printed wood panels, wall clocks, boxes, journals, and coasters.

Sheet metal is used to make these birds. Metal feathers are spaced apart using hardware and welding techniques. We finish them with enamel paint, making the brilliant artwork weather resistant.

I use a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods to create my line of kitchen utensils and other accessories for the kitchen home and office. Each functional item is hand shaped, sanded and finished.

After years of printing in a darkroom with a large format camera, I made the transition to digital capture & printing. All photos are printed by the artist on canvas or metal using archival materials.

I archivally print digital images on museum grade art paper mount and mat them in various sizes for framing or in bags. I also produce canvas prints and metal prints in various sizes and note cards.

I produce my original designs in applique on a variety of items: aprons with coordinating towels and potholders, sweatshirts, polar fleece vests and totes.
